2008 Pioneer Awards
In February 2008, Homes for Working Families released Understanding Employer-Assisted Housing: A Guidebook for Employers, a new resource that provides a straightforward examination of employer-assisted housing (EAH) programs and practical guidance on how these programs work. The guidebook also features case studies of 14 employers who already are implementing innovative EAH programs across the country. Click here to see the full matrix of employers featured in the guidebook.
In recognition of their leadership in EAH, Homes for Working Families is presenting each of the 14 featured employers with a 2008 Pioneer Award. We applaud these institutions, private companies and cities for their employee-friendly programs that help middle-income families find affordable homes. We hope that increased awareness of successful EAH programs will encourage other employers to explore how EAH may work for their organizations.
